Tend & Keep was created to help older adults remain safe, supported, and independent through thoughtful companion care and practical home safety services.

We believe aging support should feel personal, trustworthy, and relationship-centered, helping older adults maintain dignity, comfort, and connection while providing peace of mind for the people who love them.

Growing older should not mean growing isolated. Whether through companionship, practical support, or home safety guidance, our goal is simple: to help people feel safer, more supported, and more at ease in the place they call home.

Tend & Keep was founded by siblings Cally Proctor and Mike Proctor out of a shared desire to support older adults in practical, meaningful ways.

Through both personal and professional experience, they saw how overwhelming it can be for families trying to help aging parents or loved ones navigate changing needs. They know that sometimes what’s needed isn’t just medical care--it’s companionship, a trusted check-in,  or help creating a safer living environment.

They created Tend & Keep to bridge that gap with thoughtful, personalized support designed to help older adults remain comfortable, connected, and independent for as long as possible.

Mike brings years of hands-on experience in home projects, maintenance, security systems, and practical problem-solving. With experience renovating homes and helping people improve safety and functionality within their living spaces, he has a strong eye for identifying practical solutions that support safer, more comfortable living.

Mike is especially passionate about helping older adults remain secure and confident in their homes through thoughtful home safety recommendations and practical support.

Cally brings over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families through complex life circumstances, including housing instability, disability services, advocacy, and care coordination. Her work has centered on helping people feel supported, respected, and connected during vulnerable seasons of life.

With a heart for relationship-centered care, Cally is passionate about creating meaningful connection, reducing isolation, and helping older adults and families feel more supported and less overwhelmed.
